The Fairmont Orchid is a 32-acre oceanfront resort located on the Kohala Coast on the big island of Hawaii. The resort offerings include a white sand lagoon, an award-winning spa, golf, tennis, water sports, cultural activities, and six restaurants.

— Suites —
A variety of suites are available upon request and inventory is limited. The Fairmont Orchid suites offer luxurious accommodations with sprawling views of the lush Hawaiian gardens, waterfalls, and the Pacific Ocean. The private bedroom closes off from the living room with French doors and includes a spacious marble bathroom with a separate shower, bathtub, and water closet. There are two large closets, a television, and a private lanai with patio furniture. These Hawaiian resort suites feature a sectional sleeper, accent, and coffee tables as well as a half bathroom off the living room, and a second private furnished lanai.

— Hotel Reservation Policies —
Attendees will be required to reserve their room for the three nights of Wednesday, October 16, Thursday, October 17, and Friday, October 18 at minimum.
Each attendee can initially reserve a maximum of two rooms, and rooms are subject to availability. We will do our best to fulfill additional accommodation needs on an "as available" basis.
Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card during the reservation process. Full room and tax for your entire stay, (including nights reserved prior to October 16 and after October 18) will be charged by The Lobby Conference LLC on Friday, August 23, 2024.
There will be no refunds after Friday, August 23, 2024.
Any changes to your hotel reservation must be made through the Lobby:Consumer Housing and Registration Office, not The Fairmont Orchid.
Room rates do not include applicable state/city taxes. Baggage handling and the resort fee are included in the room fees. Guests can tip maid and additional bellmen gratuities at their discretion.
— Traveling with children —
Kids at The Fairmont Orchid are referred to as “Keiki.” If you are traveling with children, the resort offers the following accommodations:
Keiki ages five and under dine at no charge when ordering from the children’s menu or dining at restaurant buffets and accompanied by an adult. This discount is applicable only in restaurants and does not apply to in-room dining.
Keiki ages six to twelve dine at published menu prices when ordering from the children’s menu.
Keiki ages twelve and under receive a 50% discount when ordering from the regular menu (a la carte or buffet) and accompanied by an adult ordering full menu pricing. This discount is applicable only in restaurants and does not apply to in-room dining.
While the resort does not offer childcare services, these services may be arranged through Malihini Keiki Care - Childcare Referral Service. They refer and select nannies and babysitters based on your individual needs, and arrange for them to come to your location to care for infants, toddlers, and children seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Please Note: While registered companions are invited to join evening functions on Wednesday and Thursday, it is our preference that alternate arrangements are made for children on these evenings.

Air Travel
The closest airport to The Fairmont Orchid is the Kona International Airport (KOA), located approximately 23 miles (45 minutes) from the hotel.
Alternatively, for a more leisurely drive to the hotel, you may consider flying into Hilo International Airport (ITO), which is located on the east side of the island and approximately 77 miles (2 hours) from the hotel.

Parking
Parking is available at the hotel. Overnight self-parking is included in the daily resort fee and valet parking is available at the rate of $25.00 per night.

Taxi
The Fairmont Orchid works with Resorts Limousines, and your transportation request can be arranged through the concierge (808) 887-7320 or orc.concierge@fairmont.com. The estimated taxi fare one-way from KOA to The Fairmont Orchid through Resorts Limousines is $89 and the estimated sedan fare is $198 one-way. The driver will meet you at baggage claim with a sign with your name on it if booked in advance.
Alternatively, at Kona International Airport (KOA), taxi service is provided by various independent companies curbside fronting baggage claim areas A and B. Please consult your taxi dispatcher on arrival for current fairs and information.
Uber & Lyft
Both Uber and Lyft service Kona and are available at KOA.
